The Metropolitan Museum of Art opens today the exhibit titled "Parks and Promenades: Maurice Prendergast in The Metropolitan Museum of Art", on view through October 22, 2000. The exhibit features a selection of paintings, watercolors, drawings, and prints by the New England modernist Maurice Prendergast (1858-1924), all drawn from the Museum's collection.
